In Old England Anglo-Saxon kings called Witans – meetings of wise men, magnates, and religious leaders – to give good counsel during his hour of need. As our forefathers did, we gather to question our course and to steer ourselves towards suitable solutions to the ills of our land. After four insightful witans, Scyldings returns with our fifth meeting of wise men. This year the council will discuss on the theme ‘Generations’
2025’s Witan will take place from August 29th-31st in Deepest Darkest Urban Birmingham, England’s second city, in the centre of the country.
This year’s Witenagemot shall see a mixture of new and returning speakers, all of whom have extensively pondered the matter at hand. We are pleased to announce Carl Benjamin, Edward Dutton and the Raw Egg Nationalist will all be speaking.
More memorable names are set to be announced but slots are available for applicant speakers too. If you want the opportunity to speak at the Witan, then email us with a speech pitch. Please keep your pitch to no more than one and a half pages. Outline your argument and how it will contribute to the theme of the event. All speakers receive free entry into the Witan. All essays of sufficient standard will be published in the event book.
Tickets include access to every speech, along with accommodation and meals for the weekend. Saturday’s meal will feature a three course formal banquet wherein we encourage everyone to dress their best.
Every ticket includes access to all the talks, dinners on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Every attendee should buy their own ticket. The ticket type decides the number of people which you'll are roomed with. Single ticket holders are accommodated in their own room whereas double ticket holders will share a two-bed room with another attendee. The Luxury room option is an upgrade on a Single occupancy room, more richly decorated and spacious, every luxury room is individually styled and is well worth it for those with a taste for the finer things in life.

Carl Benjamin
Carl Benjamin, Sargon of Akkad, needs no introduction. Over the last five years the Podcast of the Lotus Eaters that he founded as grown to be one of the most popular political programmes in the country, racking up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. He has spoken at every Scyldings UK conference so far and we are delighted to host him yet again.
Professor Ed Dutton
Professor Dutton is a professor at the University of Asbiro in Poland and an honorary professor in the Institute of Psychology at the Russian Academy of Science. He has authored more books that most people have read, including the recent “Shaman of the Radical Right: The Life and Mind of Jonathan Bowden” and “Woke Eugenics”, and is also well known for his popular YouTube channel, substack and website The Jolly Heretic.
Raw Egg Nationalist
Dr Charles Cornish Dale is better known at the online phenomenon Raw Egg Nationalist, the founder of Man’s World Magazine and author of multiple books including “The Eggs Benedict Option” and “Raw Egg Nationalism in Theory and Practice”. His works on the intersection of health, fitness and politics have been published in the American Mind, Epoch Times and The Spectator, as well as his RawEggStack substack.

Can I watch the talks online?
No. This is an in-person event only. A small number of the talks will be published online as part of promoting future events, but the only way to guarantee you can see the talks is to attend in person.
